Since August 2025, Chamsin has been a non-profit organization governed by French law (Association loi 1901), officially registered under the full name CHAMSIN: Observatory of Societies, Cultures and Conflicts in the Middle East. This legal status affirms our commitment to producing independent content, with no commercial purpose or political affiliation, and in service of the public interest. The organization is run by a volunteer team and is open to anyone who wishes to contribute, share ideas, or get involved. No membership fee is required to join or participate.
